SendonWay would like to welcome Gladys Hnat and Wotan Von Wolkenstein II, or Walter as he's known around the barn. The pair joined SendonWay's team in May 2008.

With the help of her long-time trainer and friend, Doris Clark, Gladys was lucky enough to buy Walter as a yearling from Susanne Dutt-Roth, one of Canada's finest dressage riders. He had been seriously ill and his future soundness was questionable. But she took the chance, and that chance certainly paid off!

Under the training of Sue and Terry Williams, with Lex Brown riding, Walter started his show career in 2005 winning several USEA events at novice and training levels, including the Stuart Horse Trials and the GVRDC HT with a score of 18.5. He was also the WNYDA Horse of the Year at Training Level and was the PHR third place national training level event horse and regional dressage champion.

In Wellington, FL, in 2006, Walter entered eight USDF classes, winning six and placing second in the other two with a high score of 75. He qualified for both Training Level and First Level Championships. In 2007 he was shown successfully at first level in Florida by Kate Poulin-Neff. Walter is also approved by the RPSI for breeding.

With Walter finally at SendonWay, Gladys says she can hardly wait to see what his future will bring.
