It was a BLAST!
SendonWay Equestrian Center would like to extend a special thank you everyone who attended our 2007 Fourth of July Party. Once again, our "request" with the weather department came through and we had a beautiful day and a spectacular evening. But before we can show you all of the wild and crazy pictures, there are a few thank you's we have to cover:

* Thanks to Greg Stanton and Bob Lewis for making our fireworks display out of this world! We can't wait to see what you have in store
for everyone next year!
* Thanks to Bernie Lewis for making 300 lbs of potato salad and TONS of other food, and still finding time to serve as the Head of the
Decorating Committee.
* Thanks to Mark Sustin for making a second Cornhole set for guests to enjoy. It was a definite "hit!" He also supplied all of the guests with the fantastic Mood Mugs. Thanks Mark!
* Thanks to Mike Wycuff for once again risking life and limb by serving as our "Outdoor Illumination Fireworks Specialist" and Beth Wycuff and her cats for preparing the gross, yet tantalizing, Kitty Litter Cake.
* Thanks to Courtney Yeager and Shammer Jake for treating the guests to an afternoon of exciting pony rides!
* Thanks to Sheila Hultgren for honoring the annual SendonWay Sweetie tradition by wearing the crown with pride and enthusiasm! We know she'll make us proud as the fulfills her duties as the 2007 SendonWay Sweetie.
* Thanks to Judy Sunder for serving on the Decorating and Party Preparation Committee. All of the guests were in awe of the placement of the ornamental driveway flags.
* Thanks to Laura Wagner for assisting in party setup and post-party cleanup and to her dog Lilly for clearing the ground of any extra food that may have fallen from our guest's plates.
* Thanks to Tom Yurchick Jr. for driving the orange Husqvarna parade vehicle and carting a load of children safely through the parade route.
* Thanks to our oldest and dearest friends in the Kostelnick clan for trekking all the way to the party to join us this year! We've never seen anything quite like Mark Mason's karaoke rendition of Michael Jackson's Beat It...and it may take a year before we're ready to see it again!
* Thanks so much to our friend Jeff with Marco's Pizza for supplying new speakers for our sound system and so many tasty pizzas!
* Thanks to Munson Mini Mart for allowing us to purchase about $400 worth of ice to keep the drinks cool and refreshing.
* Thanks to David, Scott and Sarah Wycuff for decorating the parade vehicles and distributing popcorn and cotton candy throughout the party...you guys did a great job!
* Thanks to Lang Roofing for finishing the barn's roof repairs just in time for our party. Everyone agreed you did a spectacular job!

With all of that out of the way, sit back and get your scrolling fingers limber...you have a lot of party pictures to see!

As usual, a large amount of preparation went into
preparing for the 2007 4th of July party. As you can see here,
our highly qualified Decorating Team was busy building a new
stage for those brave enough to sing and dance!

The party had TRULY begun....the guests have
started to arrive!

Much like riding his own motorcycle,
Tom Jr. demonstrates his bravery by
riding the tractor with no hands!

Ever the watchful father, Tom Sr. is ready
to deploy his vicious, man-eating dog in order to stop
his son's reckless tractor riding.

Uh-oh...trouble has arrived!

What style...
What grace...
What Cornhole form you have Laura!

Tom resorted to trash-talking and
finger-pointing in order to intimidate
his Cornhole opponents.

Here she is folks...the 2006 SendonWay Sweetie
is preparing to hand over her crown!
You guessed it....here is
THE 2007 SENDONWAY SWEETIE!
What a sight to behold!

We're not quite sure how SendonWay boarder
Sheila Hultgren was able to make herself
look THIS beautiful! But the second we told her
she had been nominated and won the spot as
the 2007 SendonWay Sweetie, she started
searching all of the most expensive stores in
greater tri-state area for this fantastic outfit!

"What the......????"
As party guests were arriving, you could literally
see them mouthing the words "What the ?!@* is that?"
as they gazed upon our SendonWay Sweetie!
Bernie explains to Sheila exactly what will
happen when she is delivered to the
stage to receive her crown.
Nancy and Greg's dog Nikki was given the job
of escorting guests to the party area.
Here the 2005 and 2006 SendonWay Sweeties
wait patiently to get the show on the road
so they can honor the 2007 Sweetie.
We're not sure how Nancy was able to see out from under
her cape as she drove the head tractor in the parade...
but thankfully there were no casualties along the parade route!
Thanks to Mark Sustin, all of the party guests were
treated to these high-quality "Mood Mugs."
Here we see Michael Yeager proudly displaying his!
Can't you just see the excitement on their faces!?
Preparing to lead the parade
are Sarah Wycuff and Kristin Mason.
As you can see here, Scott Wycuff took his
parade duties VERY seriously!
The 2007 SendonWay Sweetie
proudly waves to the onlookers
from the back of the convertible as she
is delivered to the party area.
We're not sure, but Sheila was either grabbing
onto her escort for dear life...or all of the excitement
was making her a little frisky!
After a very moving and touching speech,
Mary Yeager proudly handed over her
SendonWay Sweetie crown to Sheila.
Sheila's husband Tom and friend Judy Sunder
tried to take photos in between fits of hysterical laughter.
Master of Ceremonies Bob Lewis was nearly unable to
speak as Sheila paraded around on stage for the crowd!
Kate Sunder and Sharon Lewis
can hardly wait to fill their party mugs!
Greg Stanton takes his Cornhole playing VERY seriously!
Kate demonstrates how versatile the SendonWay Mood Mugs
can be. You can fill them with anything, including wine!

Even Courtney's pony Jake enjoyed
a little liquid refreshment from his
SendonWay Mood Mug!

And that better just be water
he's drinking Courtney!!

That wild and crazy Laura Wagner is
always ready to pose for the camera!
Even Jake "dressed up" for the party!
This is what Courtney's feet looked
like after hours of giving pony rides
with only her flip flops on!
YUK!
Look at Bernie flashing those gang signs!!
* Please ask Kate for the full explanation of this photo...
Seriously...could they get their eyes open
ANY WIDER????
Isn't this the way any good party should end...
with someone needing a BARF BAG!!!
Thank you again to all of our friends and family who came to our 2007 Fourth of July party.
We can't wait to see you again next year!
