Nan Patterson brought her beautiful gelding Firenza EMF, also known as Enzo, to SendonWay in October 2009. Nan says she was not looking to purchase another horse when she saw Enzo's baby picture. But there was just something about his cute little face that drew her to him, and she said she came up with all sorts of reasons to justify buying him!

The deciding factor was that her old horse, Ollie, needed a pasture pal. So, Nan bought Enzo when he was only 9 months old with the intention of keeping him for a couple of years then selling him when he was old enough for some training.

However, like most horse and animal lovers, Nan says selling an animal would be similar to selling a child.  "Okay, not exactly. Sometimes selling a child would be much easier!" she jokes. So, Enzo is now in training at SendonWay and has excelled at dressage (guess he never wanted to just be a pasture pal!).

Nan didn't start riding until she was an adult. Although she wanted to as a child, her parents simply wouldn't let her. She purchased Enzo from  Edgewood Meadow Farm in Fleetwood, PA. His sire is Fabuleux.
